President Maithripala Sirisena says the cabinet paper to provide compensation and solutions for the issues faced by small and medium scale rice mill owners will be presented to the Cabinet meeting tomorrow.

President Sirisena made these remarks at a meeting held at Battaramulla, Ape Gama premises with the small and medium scale entrepreneurs, today (11).

Providing solutions for the issues emerged in the field, steps will be taken to work according to the state policy to provide maximum benefits for all, mentioned the President.

Thus the President said that the prominence was given by the state policy not to uplift the lives of people who have already achieved such status, but for the people who are unable to stand up on their own feet.

Thus prominence will be given to make the poverty stricken people more capable through a broad programme that will be conducted, said the President.

The President also showed the importance of marching forward with strength with the cooperation of public and private sector with new state policies and strategies.

Cabinet Minister for Ministry of Agriculture P.Harrison, Non Cabinet Minister of Economic Reform and Public Distribution Dr. Harsha De Silva, Secretaries of Districts, Secretaries of divisional Secretariats and public officers were present in this event.
