President Mahinda Rajapaksa left for Nepal today (29) for a two - day official visit.
President Rajapaksa had to cut short his three-day visit to Nepal in March this year, after gunmen fired at the Sri Lankan cricket team in Pakistan.

The Dehiwala flyover was declared open by President Mahinda Rajapaksa today, (Oct. 21).
The construction work of the flyover was commenced on July o7 and the total cost of the project was Rs.920 million which has been funded by the UK government. The two-lane flyover is 337 metres in length and 7.35 metres in width.
