President Maithripala Sirisena starting his four-day state visit to India, on an invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, arrived at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi this afternoon.
Minister of State for Road Transport & Highways, Shipping, Mr. P.Radhakrishnan and India’s High Commissioner in Sri Lanka Mr. Y.K. Sinha along with senior government officials welcomed the President at the Airport.
Ministers Mangala Samaraweera, Rajitha Senaratne, Patalie Champika Ranawaka, D.M. Swaminathan, Governor of Easter Province Mr. Austin Fernando, Secretary to the President Mr. P.B. Abeykoon are also accompanying the President during this visit.
