President presented with first copy of book on former President Wijetunga

President Mahinda Rajapaksa was presented with the first copy of the biography of former President D B Wijetunga today (22), at Temple Trees.

The book which portrays the former President as a humble head of state was written by Ms. Manike Sumanasekera. It includes descriptions of his childhood, special moments in his over five decades long political career and memoirs.

Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, Parliamentarian Earl Gunasekera, author Manike Sumanasekera and the former President's daughter Chitrangani Wijetunga were at the presentation.
