President Maithripala Sirisena vested the new three-storied building for class rooms and the auditorium at Primary Royal College in Polonnaruwa with students yesterday (July 31).
These new buildings which consist of all facilities have been constructed at a cost of Rs. 50 millions under ‘Rajarata Navodaya – Pibidemu Polonnaruwa’ District Development Programme.
The President who arrived in the school was warmly welcomed by the students. He presented the gifts and certificates to the students who demonstrated special skills.
President also vested the new computer unit and osmosis plant with students.
Chief Minister of North-Central Province Peshala Jayarathne and the Provincial Minister Sampath Sri Nilantha were among those who participated in this occasion.
