Mahinda Rajapaksa in his speech for the International
Buddhist Conference held in Pallekele, Kandy today,
said that this conference stood out as one of the main
events of the 2550th Sambuddha Jayanthi celebrations
in our country.
Mr. Premasiri told the
media after swearing in, he had decided to support the
President as he appreciated President Rajapaksa’s
dedication to solving the ethnic and economic problems
of the country. He said his aim was not to be bound
by any political agenda, but to work towards developing
the country. |
