President meets Indian cricket team

President Mahinda Rajapaksa met with the Indian cricket team at Temple Trees this morning. The Indian team was in Sri Lanka to participate in the Uni Tech Triangular tournament.

International Cricket Council Chairman Percy Son, the Sri Lanka Interim Cricket Board of Control and the Sri Lankan players also participated in the meeting.

The triangular tournament was cancelled due to the prevailing weather conditions in Sri Lanka, which experience heavy rainfall. The Indian team is schedule to leave the island today.
