President Mahinda Rajapaksa met a delegation of Hela
Urumaya comprising its leader Ven. Ellawala Medhananda
Thera MP, Ven. Atureliye Ratana Thera MP, Ven. Omalpe
Sobhita Thera MP, Minister Champika Ranawaka and Mr.
Udaya Gammanpila at Temple Trees on March 19.
Among matters discussed were the present political situation
in the country and the work of the Commission of Inquiry
on the death of Ven. Gangodawila Soma Thera.
The President also replied in detail to the queries
about the Logistics Agreement signed between Sri Lanka
and the United States.
